Andrzej T. Brzoznowski

Associate Attorney

Hailing from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Andrzej Brzoznowski moved to Chicago after graduating from Michigan State University College of Law in 2010. As a dedicated cyclist and year round bicycle commuter, the decision to join Freeman Kevenides Law Firm as an associate attorney was an easy one. Andrzej provided an instant boost to Freeman Kevenides with his results driven approach and attention to detail along with his extensive connections and experience in the Chicago cycling community.

Prior to joining Freeman Kevenides Law Firm, Andrzej spent three and a half years working for an insurance defense law firm, giving him an intricate knowledge of the insurance industry. That, combined with his first-hand experience cycling in the city, gives Andrzej a distinct advantage when representing his clients against insurance companies and their attorneys.

Throughout his career and law school, Andrzej has shown a dedication to working with underserved communities. Upon moving to Chicago, Andrzej began volunteering at the legal clinic of Justice for Our Neighbors, an immigration clinic for refugees and indigent immigrants, and with Chicago Area Referral and Placement for Legal Services, a legal aid hotline for Chicago residents. During law school Andrzej worked for the Center for Forced Migration and Refugee Studies and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, as well as, volunteering as a tutor with the Refugee Development Center in Lansing, Michigan.

In addition to advocating for cyclists in the courtroom, Andrzej also writes a monthly column for the RedEye about cycling in Chicago, and on weekends works as a bike mechanic at Performance Bicycle in Lincoln Park. When Andrzej is not working he is out riding and racing. Andrzej races for the Half Acre Cycling Team, racing both road and cyclocross, but his true passion has always been mountain biking.
